      Breckenridge, CO - June 2023

      • Album
A room with a stunning view. - Made it to Breckenride, CO.
Breckenridge sits at almost 10,000 ft. I did feel the altitude.
Some days were worse than others.
On my worst day I felt nauseous and short of breath.
But mostly it was fine.
First time fly fishing. - We didn't catch anything but I loved it and hope to learn more of it.
Some dude built a troll in the forest which has become a thing. Kinda weird.
      Old mining shack.
Love how people build their roaming vehicles.
The skis version of an Adirondack chair. :)
There is always a die hard. When the ski lifts are closed for the season, you hike it.
I love the mountain highway signs up here.
Doesn't count as litter if you place your garbage nicely on the ground.
This is called the headlight house. It sits right on a curve, right beside the highway. It has been sold many times apparently.
      Where the show is based.
We took a tour of historical South Park which thrived during the gold rush. It was really well done and interesting.
They used to insulate the walls with paper.
      An old gold mine.
An old soda fountain bar and pharmacist.
      All the poisons.
Oh the stories this bar could tell.
